This video shows LWUIT running on the HTC touch device using the PhoneME open source VM from java.net.
PhoneME is very fast and provides a high performance user experience on this device. However, the open source version doesn't have 3D support so we can't really demo those features in this device either.
Chen chose to use the stylus for this device since the touch screen doesn't respond well to direct touch by fingers.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am trying to run the demo on HTC touch but am not able to do the same. I installed the Phone ME advanced dual stack binaries but it did not work. Kindly help me with it.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteWhen i tried running a LWUIT app on HTC Touch Diamond, i got noClassDefFoundError.
What could be the reason for this?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteHow are you trying to run the application on Diamond? Wot exactly is the exception thrown. I was successful in getting it working on HTC. Also refer to the lwuit forum there are a couple of threads on this topic. Hope this helps.
